Wes Hill

The Lions welcome Coach Wes Hill to the staff in 2024. After a stellar high school playing career, where he garnered two time first team All State and All LKC honors, as well as being ranked as the #27 Long Snapper in Nation by NKR, Wes turned down multiple playing opportunities to begin his coaching career.At just 21 years old, Wes has already booked two stops at the college level as a defensive line coach at Hocking College and 2023 as a Student Assistant with the Ohio University. Coach Hills last stop was at St. Joseph Catholic where he was instrumental in launching the program and as a first time Defensive Coordinator led the young Irish Defensive unit to an impressive undefeated inaugural season. Impressive as an undefeated first season may be, it is even more impressive when you realize that the defense led by Hill gave up only 39 points in six games. Wes transferred from Ohio University to Marshall University this fall. He is an Sports Management Major. He will complete an internship in the NFL this summer and plans to coach in the professional ranks in the future.

Wes will be moving from Defensive Line to Quarterbacks this Fall with the Lions. For now, we are blessed to have him leading the young Lions Signal Callers. "I look forward to helping mentor these young men and teach them how to play the position the correct way. I am excited about the future of the Ex Prep football program. We will be a force to be reckoned with very quickly in the Mid Atlantic Region".
