Marco Peery

Expression Prep Football Welcomes Coach Marco Peery to the staff in 2024.  Coach Peery is in his first year as a coach.  He will head up the Lions special teams' units.   Marco is a Punter for the Marshall University Football team.  He is currently on a medical redshirt and is on loan to Expression Prep from the Thundering Herd.

Marco was recruited out of Granby High School in Norfolk, WV and resides there over the summer.  He is a 4 1/2 Star Punter ranked number 5 in the nation as by NKR and looks forward to a return to the Herd roster this spring.  In the meantime, the Lions special teams are going to benefit from his experience and coaching he has received as a part of a Division I program.   Ex Preps Kickers and Punters will also benefit from his years of personal training experience and coaching kickers in private lessons.

Coach Peery joined the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) in 2025 and was a participant in the AFCA Professional Development Series.

A 4.0 student Majoring in Business ... Averaged 44 yards per punt at Granby ... Was Also a First Team All-District Kicker ... Parents are Ana Basso and William Peery.
