General Manager/Head Coach Post Grad

Expression Prep announces Adam HIll to head the launch of Lions football in 2024.

Ripley native Adam Hill, who has coaching experience at the high school, college and professional levels, will lead the Ex Prep program, which plans to begin play on the Middle School level this fall before fielding a Post Grad and High School team in 2025. In the footsteps of Huntington Expression Prep Basketball, the Lions Football Program will field teams at the MIddle School, High School, National Prep and Post Grad levels with roll outs scheduled each year.

A man of vision, Hill has worked as head football coach at Howard W. Blake High and Citrus Park Christian Schools in Tampa, Florida, and as an assistant at both Huntington and Spring Valley High Schools.

He was also an Offensive Coordinator on the staffs of Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Ky. and Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio.

Hill’s professional football experience includes being a Training Camp Assistant with the New Orleans Saints as well as jobs with the Arena Football League’s Tampa Bay Storm, the XFL’s Tampa Bay Vipers and front office positions with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coach Hill helped start football programs at Citrus Park Christian (Tampa), St. Joseph Catholic (WV) as well as Kentucky Christian University. As Head Coach at Blake HS in Tampa he turned around a losing program in one year securing the first winning record in over 46 years at the school...narrowly missing the FHSAA playoffs.

His offenses both at the High School and College level consistently produce and are ranked near the top of their respective divisions. In 2022, in his first year at Hocking College as Offensive Line Coach the Hawks finished ranked #4 nationally in the final JuCO rankings and ranked #2 in rushing behind the National Champions College of Dupage (Both tops in the history of the program).

While head coach in Tampa Coach Hill was named High School Coach of the Week twice and nominated for High School Coach of the Year both years he was at the helm of Blake High School.

An Offensive Line Specialist, Coach Hill has run OL/DL training businesses in Florida and WV. In 2022 he launched a series of Big Man camps across WV and will follow them up with showcases in 2023 and beyond. In 2021, he was awarded a US Patent for his invention "The Versaboard", a piece of Offensive Line Equipment that is used in three countries, and at all three levels of the game. Notable teams using the Versaboard include the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL and The US Air Force Academy Falcons who have lead the nation in rushing the two years they have included the invention as part of their offensive line tools.

Adam will relocate to Huntington with his wife Gretta, his sons William (8th Grade EPA) and Wesley (Jr. Marshall University) and the family dog...Buddy.

Coach Hill is a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and is a former participant in the AFCA Professional Development Series.
